Re:wild Your Campus Advocacy Bootcamp

Earth Rising is pleased to support Re:wild Your Campus’s Ground Up Advocacy Bootcamp (GAB) – a training series on pesticide-issues and environmental justice for young advocates.

Re:wild Your Campus (previously Herbicide Free Campus) created GAB in response to young people across the country seeking more information on pesticide issues and environmental advocacy. Re:wild Your Campus organized GAB virtual sessions to expand their reach and build power across wider communities.

Ground Up Advocacy Bootcamp piloted with a two-day workshop featuring guest speakers and sessions ranging from community organizing to the intersections of environmental racism and pesticide usage. On average, participants shared that their knowledge of pesticides and advocacy tactics increased by 20% after attending. GAB officially launched in August as a 3-day series structured to be interactive and create a sense of community among attendees.

With the first two sessions resulting in such success, the Re:wild Your Campus team is organizing another Bootcamp and implementing creative ways to continue evolving the content.

We look forward to hearing how it goes!
